A journey from here to there ... and how I'm getting there

It's such a ridiculous question because the odds of winning the lottery are like 1 in 3,000,000, but it is nice to dream about what you could do if you ever won that big jackpot lottery game. Yea, yea, yea... I know, you'd donate half of your winnings to multiple charities ... I call bullshit! Maybe you will... but most people, don't and won't, we have worked so hard to maintain, many working paycheck to paycheck.  Those are the people I like to see win the lottery.  Not the already independently wealthy person that does not need the money. My husband and I only play the lotto when the jackpot is crazy high, like $300 million or above.  We figure at least this way, we'll have at least $150 million to play around with after Uncle Sam gets his share. Me ... Well, first and foremost, I wouldn't quit my job.  I know a lot of people think that's just crazy, but honestly, lottery winnings would have come so easy to us, taking for granted it would b...

The three ..., no, the most important things children  should be taught in school ... childhood I am an opinionated woman, I can't help it, I was raised that way .... no, really, I was.  I was raised to be able to speak my truth, back it with force (the intellectual kind, that it is), but to afford others the same.  So here it is, my truth, about what I feel children should be taught in school ... scratch that, childhood. When I was younger, if I fucked up, I would have been TERRIFIED to go home and reap the consequences of my actions, not that it happened all that often, but the youth of today have no respect , for anyone, not even themselves. This is something that should be taught at home, and carried into school . When I was in school, if my parents ever got a phone call from school as a result of my poor behavior, there was no finger pointing back at the teacher, fighting for the teacher to get fired, it was pointed at me, for my lack of respect...

Where would you most like to live? (And why aren't you living there already?)... In a fantasy life, I think would most like to live in Tuscany.  It's been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I'm not even really sure why, but I think it has something to do with when I first saw "Under the Tuscan Sun."  That movie really made me fall in love with the idea of living in Tuscany (or at least visiting).  While living on the opposite side of the earth isn't really something I am able to do, it is nice to have a dream. In reality, though, I'd love to live in a big house in the country with a wrap around porch and a view of nothing but nature. From the valley our home will be situated on to the forest of trees that surround our property where I can go and hug each and every one of them. I'd wake up every morning to the most beautiful sunrises, drinking a hot cup of coffee on the porch, watching the sky transform, showing off all it has to offer. ...

What does the world need to know right now .... I'm not entirely sure how to answer this, but, I know what I need to know. I need to know how we've gotten here. Here, in a place where people cannot have their own opinions of, well, anything. People get so offended by everything. It is quite sad, really. Is it possible that our society has become so out of touch that people can't be accepting of something as simple as another's opinion. We've all heard the old adage about opinions, they're like assholes, everyone's got one ... In my humble opinion (if I'm offered such), in a world where so much is displaced, other's opinions shouldn't matter to you. Who really cares if someone thinks that the wall should or shouldn't be built... Do you honestly think that YOUR opinion on the matter will be a deciding factor?  Who really cares what people think about an increase in minimum wage ... Your thoughts and feelings will not sway a decision. N...
