Opinion Post: A sleep deprived rant, but also food for thought:

  • The media is flooding your mind with what they "want" you to know, causing outbursts, negativity, and hate across the world. The truth is that there is very likely something much bigger being masked out by all of the attention that is being given to this horrible virus. This is not a new thing, it's been happening for years... and we, the people, don't even realize it.
  • Social media is the worst thing that has ever happened to us, it allows people to hide their true identity, their true feelings, and adds unnecessary stress and bad karma to their field of energy. It is also the best thing that has been given to us. It allows us to stay connected in a way that was previously only possible by going to family reunions once a year, birthday parties, and other life celebrations. It keeps us together.
  • People are fighting for the wrong things. Case in point: We cannot find essential household items that are needed because people are fighting for them as if they will die without them ... we have become lazy, as a society, and it shows. Instead of fighting for these things, people should be fighting to keep schools essential, do not go with the flow, and allow our future leaders of tomorrow to lose out on their right to an education in a classroom setting. The US, was, at one point, top of the list in education, we are failing ourselves.
  • I'm sure I'm going to get some flack for this but we need to take a good, hard look at where all this "Government Stimulus Money" is coming from. We are most certainly going to be paying for this with increased taxes ... this money has to be paid back somehow... and it'll inevitably be coming out of the taxpayer's pocket. A second round of stimulus money will only further bankrupt states, cause the stock market to crash, and people will not be able to get their money from the banking institutions because there won't be enough... essentially bringing on another great depression.
  • The more people feel their civil rights going away, or being stunted, the angrier people will become... inciting another Civil War.
"Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it." (Fun fact, this Winston Churchill quote was actually a paraphrase of the Spanish-Italian philosopher George Santayana quote "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."
I could go on talking about people complaining about the current situation we are dealing with, the inexcusable lack of knowledge about student loan forgiveness, and how the longer we stay on pause the worse it will be for EVERYONE, which, let's face it, this sucks, it really does and I have points for why we should continue to isolate and why we shouldn't - I am conflicted on the issue because either way, something has to give... our livelihood in one hand, our lives in the other. ⚖ ... there are many more topics I could speak to, but I'll save those for another time.

End Rant.
